Let's Do Nothing! by Tony Fucile

Let's Do Nothing! by Tony Fucile

Abstract: : Frankie and Sal have run out of things to do: "We've played every sport ever invented" and "baked enough cookies to feed a small country--" Then Sal hits upon a solution: "Let's do nothing!" How hard could that be?

Candlewick, 2009.

This book was so much fun! Like Jon Agee's "Nothing," the word play is clever and amusing.

Both my kids loved this book (and me too). I agree that it is a fun read and one that we find ourselve referencing and laughing about when we tell each other to do nothing.

Love it! Fits all the criteria, especially the page-turning dynamic. Lots of kid-appeal, here, too.
