Great characters, a funny what's-gonna-happen-next kind of story, language that's simple yet fluid enough to be used as a read aloud, it all adds up to another great beginning reader book that's sure to appeal to kids.
The cowgirl Kate and Cocoa characters continue to be a great team. I thought the story was a little blah, but their wonderful relationship shines through.
