This is an excellent book for beginning readers. The pictures basically tell the story, so the children who are only just beginning can feel success as they “read” the book, recognizing more words each time. It even helps them learn their basic counting from one to ten. Lots of learning, yet still cute and fun—this is a great book to have in a kindergarten or preschool classroom.
