Mittens has the cutest little face! This is a good one. I wouldn't say the best, but it works for Geisel with the repetition of words, and slow introduction of new words throughout the book.
I thought this book was great for beginning readers. It adds in some onomatopeia and some action words at the right times, and not too often.
