I have to say, those Toon books have been fantastic. I can't decide which has been my favorite so far (although I was partial to "Stinky" 'cause it was wonderfully goofy.) And they are a hit with the kids, too.
WOW! This book is stressful! Too much to follow sometimes, but a good lesson in the end.
This book made me laugh out loud - "maybe one oyr you kids can take over crime-fighting for me"!
But beyond that, I have to agree with Clare, there is a lot going on and it is a little stressful.
I still wonder at the format too. It confuses me.
Yes, I also found this book hard to follow because there is a lot going on. I don't know if some kids could follow the story line because of everything that is going on at what seems like the same time.
I don't know if I would teach from this book, but I would definitely keep it on the class shelf for the comic book lovers.
Appreciate you bblogging this
